Job Description OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Provost for Finance and Administration plays a primary role in the development and oversight of the Academic Affairs budget and administrative affairs; assists in policy development and implementation; and in a comprehensive fashion, supports the work of the Provost/SVPAA by expediting and optimizing operations through appropriate channels. The academic budget is among the largest in the University. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs the development, collects data, monitors, oversees the allocation and maintains control of Academic Affairs budget.
