The Director of Internal Auditing provides oversight, coordination, and leadership for the Internal Audit Division of Auburn University. This role will drive the implementation and development of the audit plan, and support the Associate VP of Audit, Compliance & Privacy. Auburn University’s audit plan is developed using a comprehensive risk assessment that ensures adequate coverage of all four divisions of AU. The selected candidate will also be responsible for directing audit resources and providing oversight for all audit projects, including scheduled audits, allegations, and administrative requests.
Located in the heart of campus, in historic and beloved Samford Hall, the Office of Audit, Compliance & Privacy boasts a collaborative and dynamic team of 18 full-time professionals and three students, whose purpose is to promote and support a culture of compliance and ethical conduct at AU.
