The Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Services supports the academic and research mission of the University and student co-curricular activities.
This position is responsible to ensure the provision of auxiliary and educational support services, delivered by an engaged staff with a commitment to service and operational excellence. By maintaining effective student services and educational support, Business Services has a direct impact on student recruitment and learning, faculty satisfaction, and institutional finances.
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Services (AVC) is responsible for overall administration and strategic leadership for food service (meal plans, retail dining, catering, concessions, and convenience stores), bookstores and related campus retail/merchandising operations, licensing and trademark management, the University identification card and payment system (UNCW One Card), parking and transportation services, University printing, vending services, mail and package services (US Postal contract station), passport services, warehouse services, state surplus, recycling operations, and the office of sustainability.
