Director-Budget and Fiscal Services is responsible for overseeing and directing preparation of the College’s annual operating budget ($46 million) and overseeing grants, contracts, purchasing, and fixed assets.
This position reports to the Associate Vice President-Finance and essential job responsibilities include:
Direct and oversee annual budget development in accordance with legal requirements.
Conduct necessary fiscal analysis
Direct Capital Projects FFE budgets
Provide leadership to Budget Coordinator, Purchasing Manager, and Property Control Technician
Provide oversight and direction to the financial management of assigned auxiliary units
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
3+years of related work experience including supervisory experience
CPA or MBA with experience in educational setting in budget and fiscal analysis is preferred. Prior working knowledge of community college finance; planning and budget management principles; policies and legal requirements; and purchasing and inventory management as applied to government institutions is desired.
