Under the general direction of the Director of Finance & Operations in Finance & Administrative Affairs (FAA), this position serves as the manager of financial operations for departments within FAA. This includes developing and managing the budget for a variety of programs and managing daily financial activity. This position works closely with the FAA Budget Coordinator and other divisions on campus. The role involves complex problem solving and decision-making skills that have direct impact on the fiscal integrity of the division. This position also provides financial reporting for departmental leadership.
The salary range for this position is between $60,000 – $65,000.
Minimum Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field • Professional work experience, including some combinations of experience with policy development and implementation, financial reporting, and budget management • Knowledge of online financial systems and database applications • Evidence of knowledge of budgeting principles, practices, and procedures • Skill in generating and monitoring financial plans • Knowledge and use of common desktop applications in a business setting and knowledge of spreadsheet and financial report development
• Experience providing budget and/or business support in a higher education environment • Evidence of ability to provide superior service to a diverse client group • Strong and effective interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills
