Manages the daily operations and administrative functions for Cougar Card Services to include offices at UH Sugar Land and UH Katy as well as front service counters.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Cougar Card Services Program; oversees the operations of the service counter, manages the ID program, data systems and related equipment as well as coaches, develops and evaluates service counter staff.
Develops and recommends program operating and administrative policies, manages the dissemination, interpretation and application of policies and recommends approval of exceptions; resolves escalated problems or questions from campus community.
Assists the director with developing new features and services to improve and expand services related to the Cougar Card program.
Collaborates with division marketing team in developing marketing strategies and annual marketing plans to promote current and future services.
Provide management reports from ID program to management teams and departments using ID services. Works with Evaluation & Assessment Manager to conduct program assessments using all relevant data from ID data system.
Assists with contract compliance enforcement by maintaining contract data in Revenue Vision to develop/report on key performance indicators, historical trends, and keep abreast of any key dates for action by the Cougar Card Office.
Schedules quarterly meetings with contracted partners and UHS contract administrators; assists with preparing agenda and ensures that meetings are recorded for action items and documentation. Facilitates monthly Cougar Card Advisory Committee meetings with committee chair/vice chair, agenda and meeting minutes preparation and distribution as well as distribution of year-end reports.
Addresses and resolves more complex and difficult questions, issues or complains related to Cougar Card Services; collaborates with departments and team members to resolve.
Assists the director with annual budget preparation, to include review of service fees and service level agreements.
Performs other job related duties as required.
Bachelors and 5 years experience.
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
