The Division Administrator oversees the overall operations for a set of related academic departments and programs consisting primarily of the Division of Humanities.
The Administrator works closely with the department chairs and program directors to ensure that appropriate and consistent levels of support are provided to all associated departments and programs and serves as a change agent to align staffing to meet that expectation.
This position also: - Serves as a strategic advisor to the chairs and program directors on fiscal, administrative and operational matters and aids in strategic planning efforts - Supervises the administrative operations and the staff teams that support the departments in business/finance, administrative support, undergraduate and graduate academic support, and events coordination, and hires, trains, and supervises staff - Serves as liaison to central responsibility areas to ensure support is seamless and appropriate

Requirements: Demonstrated success in implementing change and a strong record of supervisory oversight. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and respond quickly to changing priorities. A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree is required with 6-9 years’ experience in increasingly more complex positions. Master’s degree preferred.
