Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) seeks a strategic, financially astute and highly accomplished leader to join the College of Medicine as the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration (ADFA).
AECOM is a research-intensive medical school and offers one of the nation’s largest programs for medical education. During the 2017-2018 academic year, the College of Medicine is home to 697 M.D. students, 181 Ph.D. students, 108 students in the combined M.D.-Ph.D. program, 265 postdoctoral research fellows and over 1900 faculty. In September 2015, Einstein became part of Montefiore, following the historic agreement that transferred financial and operational responsibility for the College of Medicine from Yeshiva University to Montefiore.
The ADFA is the Chief Administrative Officer for AECOM directing all business and non-academic administrative operations and functions and is the primary liaison with other AECOM and University departments. The ADFA collaborates and advises the Dean, Executive Dean, Associate Deans, Chairpersons and departmental administrators.
The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in Business Management and a minimum of 10 years experience in management and administration at a major research university or academic medical center.
