Grant Thornton LLP, one of the world’s leading organizations of independent audit, tax and advisory firms, seeks a highly accomplished thought leader to serve as Principal/Partner within the U.S. member firm’s Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Advisory Services consulting practice. Based in the nation’s capital, the Principal/Partner will develop a robust advisory services practice aimed at strengthening the overall organizational effectiveness of not-for-profit organizations and higher education institutions. To this end, the Principal/Partner will help create, protect and transform value today so clients have the opportunity to thrive tomorrow. This will require a keen focus on growing the practice’s broad advisory service offerings in Business Consulting in areas such as financial management, operations transformation, strategy and technology solutions, along with risk related services. The ideal candidate will be a credible not-for-profit/higher education leader experienced in the firm’s broad and varied advisory service offerings, with knowledge of the full spectrum of nonprofit organizations and relevant experience as a professional services provider. This role will work collaboratively across the firm with respect to client service, growth, and talent development.
