This position serves as liaison between the University community (including departments, faculty/staff, student groups, alumni, legal affairs, athletics, etc), the bookstore contracted provider, and licensing agency. It requires specialized technical knowledge of textbook, trademark and logo licensing programs and its associated processes and procedures.
Responsibilities include extensive faculty contact; assisting with and organizing Bookstore textbook programs and committees; marketing and presenting to the University community; textbook program policy and procedure design and implementation; associated reporting functions, supervision of copyright infringement, protecting the integrity of our logo from unauthorized uses, working with Collegiate Licensing and attorneys for cease & desist orders, as well as long range planning for trademarks and logos. In addition, the position is responsible for guiding the ongoing Bookstore, Copyright and Licensing programs in accordance with identified product, service, operating, and financial standards.
Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.
