The Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting functions at the College. Key responsibilities include: overseeing general ledger accounting and reporting functions; coordinating preparation of schedules for annual audits, and supervising team of financial analysts. The Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting is a senior level position reporting to the Controller and serves as part of the Controller’s Office management team.
8:30 am to 5:00 pm or as scheduled with supervisor. This is a full time exempt position requiring time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements. Occasional out of state travel may be required.

Bachelor’s degree is required. CPA is also required (or the equivalent of at least 5 years working in an accounting/finance setting). Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical, mathematical, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills; advanced reporting and audit skills; demonstrated understanding of complex accounting concepts; experience managing others and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A minimum of 5 years working in an accounting/finance office; public accounting and/or experience in non-profit accounting is preferred. This position is subject to a criminal history background check and credit check.
