The Senior Financial Analyst – Grants Administration and Compliance is a key member of the Controller’s Office, serves as the financial liaison between the Controller’s Office and the grants administration team at the College, and supervises one employee. Primary functions of this role include: provide financial oversight to faculty and academic administrators at all stages of the grant process, ensure compliance with federal Uniform Guidance requirements, supervise Departmental Grant Administrator, and provide ad hoc support for various compliance efforts at the College. This is a highly visible, dynamic role requiring excellent interpersonal, time management and supervisory skills. Applicants should have the demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and also possess the ability to work independently.
8:30 am to 5:00 pm or as scheduled with supervisor. This is a salaried position requiring the time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements.
A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance is required. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, customer service and interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience is required; public accounting or commensurate compliance experience preferred. Experience with grants management and/or work in a non-profit setting is highly desirable.
