The Office of Audit Services at Oregon State University is seeking a senior auditor. This is a full-time, 12-month, fixed-term professional faculty position.
Key responsibilities include: Performing and managing the planning, fieldwork, reporting, and documentation for assigned audits, advisory services, and investigations in accordance with professional standards and office policies. Identifying key financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks for the areas under review and designing audit procedures to assess the high-risk areas. Developing effective working relationships with institution management while maintaining professional ethics and departmental standards, and a focus on the common goal of continual improvement and achievement of objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• An active certified public accounting (CPA) certification.
• A minimum of three years of auditing experience.
• Proficiency in financial accounting principles and techniques.
