Responsible for technical operations, data systems and functional processes related to financial aid and student finance; supervises specialist team staff & student employees. Organize and oversee all testing of upgrades and bundles and resolve issues by working with ITS team as appropriate. Manages new aid year roll to update data and new tuition and fees rollover for each new academic year. Manages all types of budget change, correcting all corresponding aid packages. Annually process 1098Ts for student population. Keep abreast of all federal and state regulations. Provide functional support to the SFS team, 3rd party database, Nelnet, etc. that interfaces with administrative system. Assist on various projects.
A bachelor’s degree is required, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Possess strong computer and analytical skills. Prior experience working with PeopleSoft ERP is advantageous. Knowledge of federal and Indiana financial aid regulations and a strong commitment to higher education is desired. Applicants for this position must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, maintain team-oriented spirit, and enjoy working in a face-paced environment. Must meet University lifestyle expectations. Flexibility in scheduled work hours will be required during peak seasons.
