Rider University invites applications for an Assistant Director, Disbursements who will have overall responsibility for various aspects of the payroll and accounts payable area, as well as various regulatory reporting and filing. Individual will have specific responsibility for the preparation and reconciliation of quarterly tax filings, as well as annual filings for unclaimed wages and accounts payable.

Qualified candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree with 5 years of accounting and payroll experience with accounts payable experience preferred or a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of accounting and payroll experience with accounts payable experience preferred. Successful individual possess: the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality; proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; excellent problem solving and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal and time management skills; and the ability to interact with a diverse population. Supervisory and Banner experience preferred.
