Associate Vice President for Finance and Director of Budget
The Financial Services department seeks an Associate Vice President for Finance and Director of Budget to assume responsibility for the overall development of an annual budget. This position requires the monitoring of those budgets within each fiscal year, analyzing trends and recommending budget revisions as appropriate. This position reports to and assists the Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Carolina University.
Some in-state travel is required and occasional overnight travel in and out of state.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Director (UP03/149018), full-time position with benefits. Primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, this position will require varying work hours and weekend work. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and related experience. A CPA certification or a MBA is preferred. Public higher education institution experience is preferred. A thorough knowledge of accounting and/or finance. Advanced skills in excel and power point. Ability to work with integrated software systems. Candidates must possess uncommon integrity and have the ability to work with goodwill, and provide leadership to others. Must have a proven track record of developing and maintaining trusting, working relationships and building teams. Personal qualifications include well-developed communications skills and a high level of energy.
