Carolinas College of Health Sciences and Cabarrus College of Health Sciences invite applications for a shared chief financial officer to provide leadership, vision and overall management of administrative and financial services in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The dean provides strategic and innovative leadership in the administration of a comprehensive range of services, policies and procedures related to College operations. As a member of the senior leadership team, the dean is engaged in strategic planning, policy formation, budgetary decisions, problem solving, and offering advice and council on all institutional decisions. In consultation with the senior leadership teams, program chairs, faculty, students and staff, the dean is responsible for the direction and leadership of the following:
Finance, accounting, auditing and budgeting, including financial reporting and long-term forecasting.
Human resources, compliance and risk management.
Safety and security, parking and facilities management.
Auxiliary services, procurement, contracts and vendor management.
Furthering a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (master’s degree preferred). Preferred disciplines may include business administration, accounting, higher education and educational leadership. Other areas will be considered. Minimum of five years of leadership experience in higher education, with at least three years of management level experience at the department head level or equivalent. A record of demonstrated excellence in business, finance and administration. Excellent leadership, communication, computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills
